Role Description
Limitless Land Services, LLC is seeking an Acquisition Agent for various community solar projects located in Virginia. The projects are long term, for an established client and currently active. The agent will be responsible for identifying potential landowners, developing relationships, and negotiating/executing lease, purchase and right of way agreements. The ideal candidate should be organized, able to stay on task while working in a fast paced environment, able to think outside the box and presents excellent communication and negotiation skills. Travel is required as the agent will conduct onsite visits and work closely with landowners to negotiate agreements and facilitate payment. Background check and qualified references are required.
Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in acquisition roles, preferably in renewable energy, oil and gas or real estate industries
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge about local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines pertaining to solar and wind energy projects
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, to multitask, and to problem-solve
• Able and willing to travel to remote areas
• Knowledge of GIS and mapping is preferred, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database software
