Job Description
• The Strategic Procurement Leader will lead all global procurement and SCM related matters of across all business units and would manage both EPC & O&M procurement including but limited to vendor development, costing, commercial negotiations, contracts, tendering, logistics, warehousing and final execution.
• Ensure effective negotiations with vendors and supply partners. Ensuring profitable margins for the business through cost effective procurement. Driving on-time delivery for the assigned commodity.
• Developing new vendors and strategic business partners. Ensuring timely vendor payments and full compliance to contractual obligations. Monitoring material deliveries as per planned delivery schedule.
• Additionally, the Head Procurement will also be responsible for planning, logistics & warehousing.
• As a member of the leadership committee, Head Procurement will also act as a liaison between the Corporate HQ and project sites, thereby enabling effective collaboration with other commercial functions.

The Successful Applicant
• Mindset to develop high quality supply chain network around existing operations and strong desire to drive productivity benefits across supply chain.
• MUST be a BE/BTech with 20-25 Years of experience in the EPC/IPP (SOLAR, WTG & Green Ammonia) business and understanding of Tender requirements of Electrical/MEP projects.
• Relevant experience of EPC/ IPP industries.
• Be willing to actively engage in problem solving opportunities.
• Persuasive communication skills, plus co-operation, interpersonal and presentation skills to manage internal and external interfaces.
• High ethical standards and a role model in compliance
• People leadership and listening skills.
