Leader - Facility Operations Management
Job Description:
Position Overview: The Operations Head for Facility Management plays a
pivotal role in overseeing the efficient and effective operation of a
company's facilities and premises. This role involves managing a range of
services that contribute to the overall functionality, safety, and comfort of
the organization's physical environment. The Operations Head is
responsible for leading a team, optimizing processes, ensuring compliance
with regulations, and maintaining a high standard of service delivery.
Relevant Experience: Min 10 years , Max No limit
Key Responsibilities:
1. Facility Management Leadership:
? Lead and manage the facility management team, including facility
managers, maintenance staff, security personnel, and support staff.
? Develop and implement strategic plans for the efficient operation of
facilities, aligning with the organization's goals.
2. Operations Management:
? Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including maintenance,
repairs, security, housekeeping, landscaping, and other related
services.
? Ensure that facilities are well-maintained, clean, and safe for
employees, visitors, and tenants.
3. Vendor and Contractor Management:
? Establish and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and
contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
? Negotiate contracts and agreements, monitor performance, and
enforce service level agreements.
4. Budget and Cost Management:
? Develop and manage the facility management budget, optimizing
spending while maintaining service quality.
? Monitor expenses, track financial performance, and provide regular
reports to senior management.
5. Health and Safety Compliance:
? Ensure that facilities adhere to all relevant health, safety, and
environmental regulations and standards.
? Implement and oversee emergency response plans, evacuation
procedures, and workplace safety protocols.
6. Sustainability Initiatives:
? Identify opportunities for energy efficiency, waste reduction, and
other sustainable practices within facilities.
? Implement and monitor sustainability programs to reduce the
organization's environmental footprint.
7. Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
? Liaise with internal departments, senior management, and external
stakeholders to address facility-related needs and concerns.
? Maintain open lines of communication to ensure that facilities
support the organization's objectives.
8. Performance Metrics and Continuous Improvement:
? Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for facility management
and regularly assess performance against these metrics.
? Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to
enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements:
? Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Masters
Business Administration, or a related field.
? Proven experience in facility management, with a track record of
leadership and operations management.
? Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
? Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
? Knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety
regulations.
? Budgeting and financial management expertise.
? Familiarity with facility management software and technology.
? Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and manage multiple
priorities.
? Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
