Key Responsibilities:
• Determine conformity with land use and public utility laws and regulations
• Prepare oral and written staff recommendations
• Interact with members of the public, developers, internal and external groups, and stakeholders representing diverse interests
• Represent the bureau in city-wide or regional planning efforts
• Work with local, state, and federal regulators to understand and respond to regulatory conditions and opportunities
• Resolve concerns and differences among competing interests and issues
• Communicate detailed technical information to a variety of internal and external customers
