Urban Design Leadership

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Urban Designer to lead and manage urban design projects from concept to completion, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, sustainable, and innovative designs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage urban design projects, driving creative solutions that meet client expectations.
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
• Collaborate with architects, landscape architects, planners, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate design and planning objectives.
• Develop and present visionary urban design concepts, strategies, and proposals for public and private sector clients.
• Engage with local communities, government officials, and other key stakeholders to gather input and ensure designs meet user needs.
• Provide technical guidance on urban design principles, policies, and regulations, ensuring compliance with local zoning codes and sustainability practices.
• Mentor junior designers and urban planners, fostering a collaborative team environment and promoting continuous improvement.
• Prepare and present detailed design reports, conceptual designs, sketches, renderings, and other documentation required for approvals and presentations.
• Incorporate principles of sustainability, resilience, and environmental stewardship into all design solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and technological advancements in urban design, contributing to continuous improvement within the team.
Education and Experience

Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Design, Architecture, Planning, or a related field.
• A minimum of 14-18 years of professional experience in urban design, with a proven track record of leading and delivering complex urban projects.
• Experience in both public and private sector projects, including large-scale urban regeneration, mixed-use developments, public spaces, and transportation projects.
