Job Description
Eco Material Technologies Inc is seeking a Truck Driver in Lakeview, OR, responsible for transporting fly-ash and other materials. The role requires compliance with safety policies, knowledge of CDL regulations, and strong communication skills. Candidates should have a high school diploma and 1-2 years of relevant experience. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various environmental conditions. This position is not remote.
NOTE: The position is located at our new start up facility in Lakeview OR:18799 Roberta Road, Lakeview OR, 97630, and will be driving Oregon state roads.
JOB SUMMARY
The Eco Material Technologies Truck Driver drives gasoline or diesel-powered tractor-trailer combinations to transport and deliver fly-ash, a coal-by-product or other materials. This role requires the on-time delivery of product to end customer, positive attitude, reliability, and accurate documentation and record keeping.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Comply with Eco Material Technologies Safety Policies and Procedures
• Must possess working knowledge of tractor and pneumatic tanker combination, Federal and State regulations inherent to Commercial Driver Licensing (CDL)
• Ability to operate equipment in tight places
• Possess good interpersonal skills, be a team player, present a good appearance, good communication skills; both written and oral
• Job duties entail the loading fly ash or other materials and transporting them to the customer’s location, via daily direction of dispatcher
• Daily performance, of pre-trip and post trip equipment inspection, and preparation of related trip documentation
• Trip documentation comprises daily driver’s logbook, equipment inspection log, trip reports, daily time sheet, fuel tickets, source plant load weight tickets and receipt signatures from end customer confirming delivery
• Routinely calls dispatcher for new routing assignments, instructions as regards any equipment failure, report down time, demurrage situations and any other issues requiring the assistance of supporting personnel
• Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
The employee should have the following:
• High School Diploma or equivalent and training or certification in relevant skill or trade
• 1 - 2 years' experience in a relevant field
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
The employee should possess the ability to:
• Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable
• Withstand exposure to temperature extremes inside or out
• Prolong standing or in stationary position
• Complete repetitive movements
• Bend and/or twist
• Lift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds
• Ability to move or traverse about the facilities
• Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision and hardhat protection)
