About Eco Material Technologies

Founded date: 2022

Company stage: Other

We are the first national, environmentally focused, near-zero carbon cement producer in the country. Combining the Boral Resources business with Green Cement Inc, Eco Material is the leading marketer and distributor of fly ash, with approximately 50% market share in the United States and the industry’s only true national footprint of logistics networks and distribution channels. We maintain facilities at over 100 sites and utilize an extensive network of over 50 unique distribution terminals. We also have patented technology that can utilize fly ash and other supplementary cementitious materials to produce innovative, near zero carbon products as green substitutes for portland cement. Our standard SCMs like fly ash replace about 20% of portland cement in concrete mixes and create a stronger, cheaper and more environmentally friendly concrete. Our portland cement replacement products – marketed under the brand Pozzoslag - beneficially use fly ash or natural ash that is unmarketable today by transforming it with its technology into a 50-100% replacement for portland cement. Portland cement is responsible for 8% of global emissions and is an especially hard source of emissions to reduce economically. Our technology is the exception, for every ton of portland cement we replace we keep one ton of CO2 out of the atmosphere. No one keeps more emissions from portland cement out of the environment than we do in the United States.
