350.org is seeking a Temporary Digital Campaigner in Germany to manage digital channels, enhance online engagement, and support fundraising efforts. The role involves implementing digital strategies, managing social media, and ensuring effective communication through websites. • *About the_ Temporary Digital Campaigner-Germany _Position
The Temporary Digital Campaigner will be responsible for managing key digital channels, engaging our online supporters, and increasing the reach and impact of 350's campaigns and communications in Germany.
• Responsibilities*
- Lead on implementing our digital strategy for 350 Germany to help achieve our campaigning and public engagement goals, working closely with the rest of the Germany team and with 350 Europe's digital specialists
- Managing the German social media accounts of 350.org, including growth strategy; content creation; ongoing monitoring and evaluation
- Ensuring 350 Germany's websites are an effective communication channel to help achieve our strategic goals
- Identifying innovative digital campaigning techniques, tools and platforms, and integrating these into our work
• *Required Qualifications
- Experience of digital organising and campaigning - whether as part of non-governmental organisations, grassroots networks, or other groups
- Ability to produce high quality online content and resources for specific target audiences
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan and deliver high-quality work within tight timeframes and a limited budget.
- Fluent in German, and comfortable working in English
• Desired (but not required) Qualifications
- Experience campaigning on climate justice (at a local or national level)
- Experience working with environmental / economic / social justice movements in Germany
- Experience of mobilising people to take part in a particular campaign or event
- Familiarity with some or all of the digital tools used by 350.org (e.g. ActionKit,, Wordpress, NewMode, Twitter, Instagram, Canva). Experience with setting up ads for Facebook and Instagram would also be very beneficial.
- Basic video and graphics production and editing skills
- Experience of working in a geographically dispersed team, including working with teams in other countries on cross-regional or global campaigns
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working remotely, both independently & on teams, and who is highly responsive, able to lead initiatives while also taking direction from others.
