Job Summary:
As a Team Leader at Cleankill (Environmental Services) Limited, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of bird control technicians to ensure the efficient and high-quality delivery of environmental service solutions. You will play a crucial role in maintaining operational excellence and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of bird control technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent performance and adherence to company standards.
Plan, schedule, and assign daily tasks and routes for the team, optimizing efficiency and resource allocation.
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor the quality of work, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
Provide technical expertise and hands-on assistance to the team as needed, particularly for complex or challenging pest control issues.
Train new team members on company procedures, safety protocols, and pest control techniques.
Manage customer relationships, addressing escalated customer queries or complaints professionally and effectively.
Monitor team performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular feedback and performance reviews.
Ensure all necessary equipment, materials, and vehicles are available, well-maintained, and comply with safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of team activities, service reports, and inventory.
Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for service improvement and team development.
Promote a strong safety culture within the team, ensuring all team members adhere to safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Job Qualifications:**
Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role within the environmental services, pest control, construction or a related field.
Comprehensive knowledge of pest control techniques, products, and relevant health and safety regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a proven track record of managing schedules and resources effectively.
Ability to troubleshoot problems, make sound decisions, and work effectively under pressure.
Valid UK driving license with a clean record.
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., BPCA/RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management) are highly desirable.
Proficient in using computer software for scheduling, reporting, and communication.
A strong commitment to customer service and delivering high-quality results.
