We do this to enable the successful rollout of renewable power and to deliver the energy transition. We are engaged in all phases, from initial concept evaluation through construction and commissioning into operations, life extension and decommissioning.

We are actively solving the biggest challenge of our time, the energy transition. We provide specialist consulting and assurance to the renewable industry for on and offshore wind, solar and storage, heat reuse.

Our work is primarily focussed on helping identify and mitigate the risks associated with sites to ensure they perform as well as they can. As consultants, driven by the fast-paced energy market, we are asked to solve a wide range of internal and external customers’ challenges.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Sustainability building architect will assist the project manager in actively managing green building projects from concept design through to construction completion to ensure sustainability targets are achieved.

Your Daily Activities
• Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Consult with clients to determine the type, style and purpose of renovations or new building construction being considered.
• Generate building plans and detailed drawings to be used by contractors and tradespersons.
• Manage the coordination and overall integration of technical activities in architecture or engineering projects.
• Negotiate contracts with clients with a focus on design, construction time, price or others.
• Participate in contract negotiations.
• Prepare documents showing both the structural needs and the materials required for construction.
• Project management
• Supervise the preparation of drawings, specifications and other construction documents for use by contractors and tradespersons.
• Work in limiting factors, such as town planning laws and environmental impact assessments.
• Conceptualize and design buildings and develop plans describing design specifications, building materials, costs and construction schedules.
• Urban planning
• Construction site supervision
• Prepare sketches and models.
• Perform Life Cycle Analysis to determine the embodied emissions of buildings and identify opportunities to reduce the carbon footprint of the buildings.
