Job Description
Moody's Corporation is hiring a Sustainable Finance Sales Intern in London. The role involves supporting the Sales team with projects, data management, tender responses, and market monitoring. Candidates should have a background in Business Administration or related fields, a strong interest in ESG and sustainability, and proficiency in English and Excel. This position is aimed at graduates and is part of Moody's ESG Solutions Group.
Role/ResponsibilitiesThe Sales Intern within the Issuers Business Unit supports the Sales team on different internal projects and processes, including: Second Party Opinion (SPO) communication, data management (CRM software), administrative support, preparation of tender responses and reporting.Responsibilities:Research, prepare and monitor outreach lists under close supervision of the Head of Sustainable Finance – UK & NordicsResearch and update relevant company contacts in the CRM and V.E. Connect.Contribute to the preparation of tender responses and service proposals under close supervision of the Head of Sustainable Finance – UK & Nordics (prepare relevant track record, prepare the data as required in the tender requirements, gather admin documents, etc).Contribute to improve the use of data from the CRM (showing more relevant information such as the distribution of opportunities by country, type of product, business contributor, etc.)Contribute to market monitoring for the subregion (analyse data from databases and public information such as number of SPOs, arranging banks, type of instrument, sector of activity).Centralize the administrative documents for the Business Unit (registration documents, tax payment declarations, insurance policies, supplier questionnaires, etc.) and keep them up to date with the help of the Finance teamQualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent and/or experience in related discipline (Business Administration, Sustainability, corporate social responsibility (CSR), Sustainable Finance)Have a strong interest in ESG, CSR, Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) and/or sustainable development.English language skills, business proficientEase with data and knowledge of Excel with ability to manipulate dataRigor and strong attention to detailListening skillsAbility to synthesiseLOB/DepartmentVigeo-Eiris, a Moody’s Affiliate, is a provider of environmental, social and governance (ESG) solutions serving the investor and issuer communities.
