The Haskell Company is seeking a Sustainability Intern for Summer 2025 in Frisco, TX. The intern will assist project teams in the design and construction industry, develop sustainability assessment templates, and collaborate with various departments. Candidates should be pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering or related fields, possess strong analytical and communication skills, and be willing to travel. Haskell has an opening for a Sustainability Intern focused on the design and construction industry for Summer 2025. You will assist our multi-disciplined project team(s) with assigned tasks and will have many opportunities to grow and develop, both professionally and personally, throughout the Summer. You will participate in training programs and receive training in company management tools, standards, policies & procedures, during the assignment. Additionally, there are fantastic opportunities to network with other interns across the enterprise during scheduled workshops, events and group projects focused on our culture and values.
This internship offers the opportunity to travel and meet with various teams/offices associated with Haskell. We are looking to standardize our processes and approach to Sustainability across various markets and project-delivery systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Collaborate with Discipline Chiefs and other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand sustainability assessment services currently offered
• Gather documentation of current sustainability assessments
• Develop a standardized sustainability assessment template to be used by SMEs when conducting client assessments
• Develop a standardized client report for presenting recommendations to clients
• Partner with Business Develop and Marketing to create sustainability assessment marketing materials
• Develop repository for completed assessments and client reports
• Actively participate on the Evolve Subcommittee under the Sustainability Council
Education/Experience:
• Pursuing an accredited degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainable Design or similar
• Prior work and/or college project experience around sustainability or data analysis would be helpful

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
