General Summary of Position:

The Office of Sustainability is seeking a Sustainability Coordinator to advance sustainability operations and programs with a multifaceted focus. Sustainability operations and programs are dedicated to waste minimization and landfill diversion, as well as campus engagement to promote campus sustainability practices. The Sustainability Coordinator will also provide support to the objectives outlined in the Kendall Food Vision Prize, advancing sustainability across the campus food systems including university dining, catering, and the urban agriculture program.

The Sustainability Coordinator will be responsible for building efficiencies across sustainability operations systems and will support the Office of Sustainability across all aspects including but not limited to operations, asset management and surplus, sustainable food systems, urban agriculture, program development, engagement, events and student support staff.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):
• Bachelor's degree in sustainability, public administration, or related field
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience working with web-based asset systems
• Knowledge of or interest in climate change, waste minimization, and sustainability
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams for virtual meetings and collaboration
• Experience in a leadership role and demonstrated excelling in a team environment
