Tehachapi Cement LLC is hiring a Sustainability Coordinator to ensure compliance with federal and state environmental regulations. Responsibilities include developing environmental programs, conducting audits, managing emissions monitoring, and performing visible emissions observations. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 1-3 years of experience in the mining industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of environmental regulations are required.
Sustainability Coordinator

We are seeking a Sustainability Coordinator to join our team at Tehachapi Cement, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal and state environmental regulations, as well as implementing and managing environmental programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Compliance Management: Develop and implement effective environmental programs to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Audit and Reporting: Conduct regular audits and prepare comprehensive reports to track compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Emissions Monitoring: Manage the Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMS) to ensure 90% or higher data availability for compliance reporting.
• Visible Emissions Observations: Conduct regular visible emissions observations (VEOs) to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field (preferably Environmental Engineering, Science, or related).
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in an environmental or related role within the mining industry.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with SAP, ABB/Pi, and other relevant software.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of environmental regulations and the ability to ensure compliance in daily operations.
