Job Description:

As a critical part of our Enterprise Quality team, the Sustainability Compliance Quality Manager will lead the way in implementing exciting sustainability initiatives that align with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) set by the European Union. This rewarding role involves ensuring our compliance with environmental policies and guiding our organization towards responsible practices.

Key Responsibilities: • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across operations, sustainability, compliance, legal, IT, finance, and supply chain to achieve seamless integration of sustainability strategies into our daily operations. • Policy Development and Reporting: Design, assess, and revise policies aimed at managing the company’s environmental impacts and ensuring adherence to sustainability reporting regulations. • Compliance Auditing: Conduct systematic audits to evaluate the success of our sustainability policies and practices. Establish key targets and develop corrective actions based on audit results. • Data Management and Reporting: Oversee the effective collection and reporting of sustainability metrics, including substances of concern and resource utilization, ensuring compliance with CSRD requirements. • Risk Management: Identify and evaluate risks related to environmental sustainability. Develop strategies to mitigate these risks while staying in compliance with relevant standards. • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary contact for compliance-related inquiries from regulators, auditors, and stakeholders. Present reviews on sustainability performance to various audiences. • Innovation for Improvement: Recommend and implement pioneering strategies to enhance sustainability practices and compliance measures.

Job Complexity: • In-depth understanding of sustainability practices and regulations is essential. • Ability to tackle complex challenges and recommend best practice solutions. • Work independently and provide expertise to project teams and junior staff.

Qualifications: • Demonstrated expertise in EU environmental policies, particularly the CSRD and ESRS frameworks. • Experience in developing sustainability strategies and ensuring compliance. • Strong analytical skills with experience in data management and reporting. • Proven track record in conducting audits and collaborating with regulators. • Excellent communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams. • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Education/Experience: • 8+ years in environmental sustainability, regulatory compliance, or related fields. • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; advanced degree preferred.
