About the position
The Quality Manager I - CSRD Reporting will oversee the implementation and reporting of sustainability initiatives in compliance with the European Union's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). This role is crucial for ensuring adherence to environmental policies and regulations, tracking sustainability metrics, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance sustainability practices within the organization.
Responsibilities
• Partner with internal departments to align sustainability strategies and integrate compliance measures into operations.

• Create, review, and update policies related to pollution and resource management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Conduct regular audits to track the effectiveness of sustainability policies and implement corrective actions based on findings.

• Oversee the collection and management of sustainability data, reporting on metrics as required by CSRD.

• Identify and assess risks related to substances of concern and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.

• Serve as the main contact for sustainability compliance inquiries from regulatory bodies and stakeholders, presenting periodic reviews of sustainability performance.

• Recommend and implement innovative strategies to improve sustainability practices and reporting accuracy.
Requirements
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in environmental sustainability, regulatory compliance, or a related field.

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or related fields; advanced degree preferred.

• Extensive knowledge of EU environmental regulations, including the CSRD and ESRS frameworks.

• Proven track record of developing and implementing sustainability strategies and ensuring compliance with environmental policies.

• Strong data management, analysis, and reporting skills.

• Experience conducting audits and working with third-party auditors and regulatory bodies.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-haves
• Advanced degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

• Experience in leading project teams and training junior staff on sustainability reporting and compliance processes.
