POSITION PURPOSE:
We are seeking a highly motivated Demand Planning & Supply Chain Intern to join our team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in demand forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain optimization. The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data, support planning initiatives, and contribute to improving supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in demand forecasting by analyzing historical sales trends, market data, and customer insights.
• Support inventory planning by monitoring stock levels and identifying potential supply chain risks.
• Work with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Logistics, and Procurement) to ensure accurate demand planning and supply alignment.
• Assist in the development of demand planning models and tools to improve forecasting accuracy.
• Participate in supply chain optimization projects, identifying process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning and supply chain efficiency.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Assist with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or data visualization tools.
• Experience with demand planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong ability to interpret and analyze data.
