Sr Software Developer-Web Portal Frontend

SMA Solar Technology AG is seeking a Senior Software Developer for their Bengaluru office. The role involves leading software development, designing applications, and mentoring teams. Candidates should have a degree in Computer Science or related field, with 5+ years of experience, particularly in frontend development with Angular. Strong communication and agile methodology experience are desired. The position is full-time and requires effective collaboration in an international environment.
As a Senior Software Developer, you will contribute to and lead the software development team throughout the development process. A key aspect of this role is possessing a deep understanding of coding languages and software development programs. Success in this position is demonstrated by the creation of high-quality applications that meet user requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Design and develop software to fit customer needs.
• Implement updates and integrate the latest technologies to enhance software performance.
• Generate reports on the development process and application performance.
• Provide direction and mentorship to software development teams.
• Conduct system analyses to identify weaknesses and implement improvements.
• Mentor software engineers by advising and coaching.

Required Qualifications:
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with at least 5 years of experience.
• Exceptional proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

Desired Characteristics:
• Extensive experience in software development, particularly frontend development with Angular and web technologies.
• Experience in agile development methodologies, including Scrum and SAFe.
• Strong mentorship and coaching skills.
