About the role:

The Sustainability Solutions Director will be a key contributor and leader throughout the Strategic Pursuits process. Focused on deepening relationships with key strategic clients, they work closely with the Global Head of Sustainability Solutions to develop winning strategies and overall pursuit plans.

The Solutions Director develops a detailed knowledge of CBRE’s global sustainability services and products and is responsible for organizing and leading the internal process of solution development, such as leading SMEs, sustainability sector leaders and marketing. The Sustainability Solutions Director plays an active role in developing client relationships and creating unique solutions to the client’s sustainability challenges.

What You'll Do:
• In partnership with Global Head of Sustainability Solutions, responsible for solutioning the win, keep, and grow opportunities for Emerald clients.
• In partnership with Global Head of Sustainability Solutions, responsible for analyzing and understanding client needs, and developing a successful strategy and plan to meet those needs.
• Leads internal regular workstream process meetings and provides guidance and leadership where needed.
• Effectively communicates the win strategy and pursuit plan internally with SMEs and regional solutions leaders to ensure global consistency and focus.
• Provides guidance and leadership to marketing with collateral development.
• For key strategic accounts, the Solutions Director will be responsible for developing the proposed management structure in partnership with Global Head of Sustainability Solutions and sustainability sector leaders.
• Collaborates with Global Head of Sustainability Solutions and platform SMEs to develop creative and pursuit bespoke solution opportunities.
• Manages the planning, organization and execution of internal solution workshops.
• In partnership with Global Head of Sustainability Solutions, prepare SMEs and other colleagues for formal client engagements throughout the pursuit process such as workshops and pitch presentations.
• Supports Global Head of Sustainability Solutions and Commercial Managers in preparing for formal internal financial sign-off of the proposal.
• In partnership with Global Head of Sustainability Solutions and marketing, develop and maintain the Sustainability pitchbook.
• Strong understanding of each Sustainability service offering, platform, and value proposition, and the broader CBRE service lines.
• Builds and maintains a strong internal network with service line leaders and sales & client solutions peers and contribute to continuous improvements and best practices.
• CoreNet membership and participation in local and regional events desired.
• Travel 15%

What You’ll Need:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 10-15 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Multi-dimensional, conceptual, and innovative thinking to develop new solutions.
• Ability to identify and solves the most complex problems.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Organizational skills with an expert unrivaled inquisitive mindset. •
• Expert math skills. Ability to calculate complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial related calculations.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $130,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $150,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
