Solar Technician II & III

Salary: $60k - $105k

Hours: M-F 6am - 2:30pm

Job Description:

Solar Technician II is responsible for executing corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance on solar PV systems and related equipment. The main goal is to ensure the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of solar PV systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine, corrective, and preventive maintenance on large-scale solar field systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical, mechanical, and system components.
• Monitor solar field systems and equipment, analyzing performance data to identify potential issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Conduct inspections of solar panels, inverters, combiner boxes, and other field equipment to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards.
• Perform emergency maintenance and repairs in response to system failures or other operational issues.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Solar Technician with a focus on O&M, including solar PV system design, installation, and troubleshooting
• Significant I&E, I&C and/or C&I Electrician experience will be considered
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus
• NABCEP certification is highly preferred
