About the position

As a Solar Sales Advisor, you will play a crucial role in educating prospective customers about solar energy products and services. This position involves handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, where your primary responsibility will be to qualify potential customers by adhering to our call quality standards. You will be expected to deliver an exceptional customer experience while effectively communicating the benefits of solar energy and Sunrun's offerings. In this role, you will engage with customers to understand their energy needs and goals, review their roof materials to determine eligibility for solar installation, and manage inquiries through various channels, including email and online chat. You will also be responsible for overcoming objections with integrity and ensuring that customers are well-informed about the steps required to obtain a solar system from Sunrun. Responsibilities
• Effectively educate the public about the benefits of solar electricity and Sunrun Solar through inbound and outbound calls.
,
• Review prospect's roof material to qualify eligibility for solar.
,
• Handle and overcome objections with integrity.
,
• Gain confirmation that the prospective customer understands the benefits of solar and is knowledgeable of their consent to a signed sales agreement.
,
• Create reasonable expectations with prospective customers of the steps required to obtain a solar system from Sunrun.
,
• Manage solar prospect inquiries via email and online chat, including re-engagement with those who require future contact.

Requirements
• High School Diploma Required
,
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a call center environment
,
• Ability to communicate fluently in English; fluency in another language is a plus
,
• Strong work ethic and ambition to succeed
,
• Proficient with email, Google suite, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools (Salesforce preferred)
,
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and some holiday shifts.
