As a Solar PV Installer your responsibilities are to work as a member of a crew in the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on roofs and ground-mounted structures.

Our electricians are integral members of our installation crews who work in a team environment organizing and performing the installation of solar PV electrical equipment.

Electricians and their teams ensure accurate and timely solar PV installations, update manager on project and specifics, and utilize best installation and safety practices.

Responsibilities

Assemble components of solar PV systemsStructural mounting of racking and PV equipmentTrenching, concrete work and equipment assemblyMaintain inventory of electrical equipment for each solar installationRequirements

Current State of Montana Journeyman Electrician's LicenseNo previous solar installation experience required5 years electrical experience with references Familiarity with forklifts, skid steers and excavators a plusExperience with fall protection equipmentAbility to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasksAbility to climb ladders and work on rooftops, and be able to work on your feet for long periods of timeAbility to lift 50-75 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workdayAttention to detailAbility to work in extreme outdoor conditions (example: hot sun, wind, cold, rain, snow) and in confined spaces (crawl spaces, attics, etc.)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsRegular, reliable and predictable attendanceAbility to work well with others in a collaborative team environmentAbility to travel to remote job sites with occasional stays out of townMust have working vehicleMust have a current driver's licenseMust have a clean driving recordMust have working smart phoneMust be willing to take screening test for controlled substancesBozeman Green Build Inc offers competitive salary and benefits (vacation pay, holiday pay, sick pay, health insurance, 401K).
