Job Description

SolarSesame Inc. is hiring a Solar & Battery Installer in Hayward, CA. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in solar PV installation or related fields, with knowledge of electrical systems. Responsibilities include installing solar systems, conducting site assessments, and ensuring safety protocols. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar & Battery Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in installing solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, home batteries and/or experience in Roofing along with a strong commitment to safety and quality. As a Solar Installation Professional, you will work on PV Solar Installation projects throughout Northern California ensuring that each system is installed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including mounting hardware, wiring, and inverter connections.
• Perform electrical wiring in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
• Conduct site assessments and analyze roof and ground conditions for optimal system placement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system installation and operation.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and answering questions about the solar installation process.

Qualifications:
• 2 Years Minimum in solar installation or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and experience with solar PV and battery installation.
• Certification in Tesla, Franklin, QHome, and Enphase Battery systems preferred.
• Familiarity with AC & DC electrical systems along with a strong understanding of N.E.C, conduit, and main and sub panel rule.
• Experience and capability to perform sub panel upgrades and/or MPUs
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation to commute to job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
