Major Job Responsibilities

Develop software that integrates with and controls physical power generation devicesDesign and implement software solutions with deterministic timing and safety requirementsTake ownership of development work, driving projects from initial concept through implementation, testing, and releaseCollaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into efficient, reliable code Optimize software performance for embedded systems and real-time applicationsParticipate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality, maintainable codeTroubleshoot and debug issues in both development and production environmentsStay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in embedded systems and clean energy

Position Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fieldMinimum of four (4) years of work experience in software development in a power systems, energy storage, or related fieldExperience with embedded systems or real-time software developmentUtilize AI-driven tools and workflows to streamline processes, automate tasks, and improve overall performanceExperience working in Agile development environmentPreferred Qualifications:C++ (primary language)GoLinux operating systemsContainerization technologies (e.g., Docker)Git and CI/CD pipelinesTCP/IP networking fundamentalsExperience with power systems, grid-connected assets, or energy storage systems
