Software Architect-Portal

SMA Solar Technology AG is seeking a Software Architect-Portal in Bengaluru, India. The role involves providing technical leadership, collaborating with stakeholders to analyze needs, designing software architecture for web portals, and overseeing the development lifecycle. Candidates should have a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, 10 years of experience, and expertise in software development, agile methodologies, and strong communication skills.
Description: As a Software Architect, you will provide technical leadership and architectural blueprints to the engineering team. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to analyze user needs and design, develop, and execute software solutions that address these needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Engage with senior stakeholders across the business to understand priorities and requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Architectural Design: Identify and design the appropriate software architecture for web portals and applications, ensuring scalability and security.
• System Structure: Define the structure and architecture of software systems, creating detailed blueprints and documentation.
• Development Standards: Collaborate on defining platform and coding standards, promoting best practices in development.
• Lifecycle Management: Oversee all stages of the development lifecycle, from initial planning to deployment and maintenance, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:
• Educational Background: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with at least 10 years of experience.
• Technical Expertise: Extensive technical knowledge of software and code, including native app development for iOS/Android and web development with Micro Services, Angular, Cloud Technologies, APIs, and Databases.
• Agile Experience: Proven experience in agile development methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe.
• Communication Skills: Excellent English skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
• Intercultural Competence: Strong international and intercultural skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
