Job Description

Elcot Environmental Ltd is seeking a Site Manager & Monitoring Technician specializing in invasive plant species, particularly Japanese Knotweed. This full-time role involves extensive travel across the UK, requiring excellent communication and customer service skills. Candidates must have relevant certifications, a full UK driving license, and be organized. The position is based in South England with occasional overnight stays, and includes a company vehicle and training.
Pay

£30,000 - £38,000 depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Title : Site Manager &Monitoring Technician ( Invasive Plant Specialists)

Location : South England based, with extensive travel across the United Kingdom, including, but not limited to, South West, South East, Midlands, London, North East, North West.

About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated, reliable applicant who is self-driven and organized to join our team, this is a customer-facing role, so professionalism and good communication skills are a must. You’ll be working in various environments to tackle invasive plant species, with a focus on Japanese Knotweed. As a main point of contact with clients, you will be expected to be well presented, organized, professional, and punctual at all times. The work is within the private and commercial sector throughout the UK. On occasion you may be required to stay away overnight in hotels. All necessary hotel stays will be covered by the company’s head office along with expenses. You will be required to visit the company head office from time to time.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct site assessments and apply treatment methods to invasive plant species

Travel across the UK, staying overnight, where necessary

Use tablets proficiently to complete and submit detailed reports from site visits

Interact professionally with clients, ensuring excellent customer service

What We’re Looking For:

SSSTS

PA1 & PA6 Spraying Certificate

Reliable trustworthy individual

Full UK driving license

Proficient in using tablets and mobile devices

Good customer-facing skills

Willingness to travel and stay overnight, as required

On-Site Support when needed (out of growing season)
