Senior Regulatory Affairs Market Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure legal compliance of company products and activities with local guidelines and codes, including product naming, labeling, packaging design, product selling points, and advertising/promotion materials.
  • Provide expertise and assessment comments on regulations applying to newly launched products, along with professional advice and solutions related to potential regulatory issues.
  • Assist in preparing health claim petitions and notifications to be submitted to Authorities.
  • Support innovation and product lifecycle projects with regulatory expertise to ensure product compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Be actively involved in product registration line extensions of relevant nutrition elements and work to expedite final completion.
  • Stay updated on regulatory establishment and development trends and influence future market food/beverage product requirements with a customer focus based on a global Oatly approach.
  • Ensure the Regulatory function interfaces with other internal functions to drive company-wide initiatives.
  • Provide proactive regulatory watch and act as a point of contact for local authorities and certification organizations, leading certification audits.
  • Disseminate up-to-date official rules and custom policy, while providing technical training for internal and external clients appropriately.
  • Assist with customer complaints and feedback for spot testing from CIQ SAMR and take necessary corrective actions if needed.
  • Maintain regular regulatory communication with customers, suppliers, and hold meeting initiatives with target customers and Oatly affiliate teams based on actual demand.
  • Actively participate in new product development and formula adjustment to help launch products in the market.
  • Lead withdrawals or recalls and ensure the tool lists used in the withdrawal/recall process are reviewed annually in collaboration with stakeholders and updated if necessary.
  • Validate communication materials, point of sale advertisements, and support the communication team with guidance on do's and don'ts according to legislation.

Requirements:

  • PhD, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in food inspection, food science, nutrition, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in regulatory affairs in multinational food companies.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in oral and written English.
  • Strong multitasking and project management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate with a high degree of flexibility.
  • High attention to detail required.
  • Must be able to work autonomously and collaboratively with little supervision.
  • Optimized positive cooperative teamwork spirit with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiar with related literature, files, and regulations locally and abroad.
  • Knowledge of food legislation and importing provisions in HK, TW area, Korea, Japan, and ASEAN will be a plus.
  • To be a member of the site management team.
  • To be based in Senoko, Singapore.
