Senior Proprietary Trader – Commodities, Carbon Markets, & Equities

VEXUS ENERGY CORP is seeking a Senior Proprietary Trader specializing in commodities, particularly carbon markets, to work in Dubai. Candidates should have over 5 years of trading experience, strong technical analysis skills, and a proven track record in P&L generation. The role involves executing high-frequency trades with a focus on risk management and capital preservation. This is a full-time position with performance-based compensation.
We are looking for highly skilled Proprietary Traders with deep expertise in commodities, specifically carbon markets, to join our team. This role is focused on executing short-term, high-frequency trades across commodities, CFDs, and equities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Trade commodities, with a focus on carbon markets (EUAs, CCAs), energy, and base metals.
• Use advanced technical analysis and market data to drive trading decisions.
• Apply disciplined risk management to protect capital and optimize returns.
• Execute trades with a 1-7 day horizon, leveraging both discretionary and systematic strategies.

Requirements:
• 5+ years of proprietary trading experience in carbon markets, commodities, FX, or equities.
• Proven track record of consistent P&L generation.
• Strong technical analysis and data science skills (Python, SQL, etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of carbon markets and commodities.
• Strong risk management and capital preservation history.
• Degree in Economics, Finance, or related field.
