Job Description:

The Environmental, Health & Safety Manager will provide guidance and direction to plant management and employees in all aspects of safety and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage corporate health and safety programs at the facility.
• Oversee the development and implementation of safety and environmental programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Coordinate and deliver safety training to managers, employees, and contractors.
• Lead incident investigations and manage workers' compensation administration and claims.
• Initiate facility safety audits, identify potential hazards in operations, and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience with regulatory guidelines, reporting, and recordkeeping.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in environmental, health & safety, Industrial Safety, or a related field is highly desirable; associate degree is required.
• Professional certification (ASP, CSP, or others) is highly valued.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment where 3 of those years were as a Safety Department Manager.
