We are actively seeking a Senior Project Manager and Water Resources Engineer to dive into the heart of the Tampa Bay Region Water Resources landscape. This role is a unique blend of spearheading high-stakes projects and nurturing client relations with finesse and strategic acuity. As a Seller-Doer, you will combine operational and project delivery responsibilities with client services activities, supported by Jacobs' lead Water Resources technologists located throughout the United States and around the world. In this position, you will help support ongoing surface water, groundwater, and stormwater-related projects for various clients in the Tampa Bay area, addressing growing flood, water supply, and climate-related risks. You will support junior and senior engineers and designers in planning and designing projects associated with watershed master planning, hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, groundwater modeling, and drainage improvement projects. As a key member of our Tampa team, you will work under the guidance of Senior Project Managers and Senior Engineers, providing mentorship to junior staff and collaborating with peers to advance your career. Your responsibilities will include leading multidisciplinary teams through project lifecycle management, ensuring initiatives meet targets for scope, schedule, budget, and quality. You will champion client satisfaction, delivering projects that exceed expectations while adhering to Jacobs' stringent standards for health, safety, quality, and risk management. Additionally, you will leverage your strategic insight to secure new contracts through compelling proposals, engaging presentations, and effective negotiations, all founded on a deep understanding of market and client needs.

Responsibilities
• Mentor and support junior staff in the local and regional water group.
,
• Lead teams through project planning, execution, and culmination, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and contractual mandates.
,
• Be accountable for successfully completing projects to the satisfaction of clients and key stakeholders while meeting Jacobs' business and policy expectations.
,
• Play a leadership role in business development activities that result in the award of new contracts, including client relationship development and proposal preparation.
,
• Contribute to the development of a Tampa Bay Region Market Strategy that delivers leading-edge technology solutions for clients.
,
• Demonstrate leadership by example with integrity and candor in support of Jacobs' Culture of Caring work environment.

Requirements
• B.S. or M.S. degree in related engineering or applicable discipline.
,
• 10+ years of progressive experience with Water Resources and municipal consulting, leading small to large projects.
,
• Knowledge of Hydrologic & Hydraulic (H&H) Analysis and Stormwater System Design.
,
• Experience with surface water and groundwater modeling software including ArcGIS, ICPR4, EPA SWMM, HEC-RAS, MODFLOW, Groundwater Vistas.
,
• Knowledge and advanced use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and PowerPoint.
,
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida (preferred) or ability to obtain within 1 year.

• Strong technical writing, communication, and facilitation skills.
,
• Self-driven, motivated, and able to perform duties independently with minimal guidance.
,
• Proven track record in developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
,
• Adept at interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, and leading diverse teams.
