What You’ll Do
CPA isseekinga detail-oriented and highly motivated professional with experience in communityresilience and thedevelopment ofsolar and storage back-up systems. In this role,the Senior ProjectManager,Infrastructure Delivery will be a critical member of thePower Readyproject delivery team.This role will manage various elements of the implementation of Power Ready including vendor contract management for the Design Build Contractor,Owner’sRepresentative, and Operations and Maintenance Contractors including tracking construction schedules and deliverables to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery. The Senior Project Manager, Infrastructure Deliverywill alsofacilitatethe execution of member agency participation documents andensureappropriate communicationwith member agency site hosts.

TheSenior Project Manager, Infrastructure Deliveryreports to the SeniorDirector, CustomerPrograms within the Customer Programs team.In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally withteams including but not limited toCustomer Programs,Power Supply,Government Affairs, Legal, andStrategic Sourcingto support program implementation and advance CPA’s clean energy initiatives.

Skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstratedproficiencyin using Project Management software including but not limited to Microsoft Project.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Ability to fully own tasks and processes with minimal oversight.
Ability to handle multiple priorities to meet deadlines and escalamkey issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortablepresenting to seniorleaders/officials and in public settings.
Excellent organizational, scheduling, time managementskillsand attention to detail.
Excellent analytical skills
Experienceusingdata visualization tools and software (i.e., Tableau, Power BI)preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities
Project Management:Lead end-to-end technical project management for behind-the-meter rooftop or carportsolarphotovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS)projects from early development through commercialoperation, including coordinationofongoing operations and maintenance. Oversee project schedules, procurement, budgets, invoicing, and documentation.Responsible forexercisingindependent judgment inidentifyingand resolving risks related to scope, schedule, and cost.
Stakeholder Engagement:Serve as the primary point of contact for external technical stakeholders, including design-build contractors, owner’s representatives,Operations and Maintenance (O&M)providers, and consultants. Lead coordination across internal teams, customers, contractors, utilities, andpermittingjurisdictionsto resolve technical, scheduling, and budget-related issues.Assist with CPA customerand member agencycommunications.Maintain strong working relationships and provide project updates, budget summaries, and recommendations to internal leadership and key stakeholders.
Subject Matter Expertise:Apply knowledge of industry best practices and market trends to support project execution and inform continuous improvement of technical standards.Provide technical feedback from operating assets to improve future designs and contract specifications.Responsible forproject planning by developing project plans, schedules, and implementation approaches for new and ongoing initiatives.
Data Analytics:Manage the collection, analysis, and reporting of project data tosupport project oversight and performance tracking. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensureaccuratetracking of project milestones andtimelyreporting. Support the development and refinement of reporting tools used for internal updates and leadership reporting.
Continuous Improvement:Identifyand evaluate opportunities to improve project delivery processes, tools, and reporting frameworks. Recommend and support implementation of process enhancements based on project experience and stakeholder feedback to increase efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degreeanda minimum of5years of project management experience in renewable energy
Proficiencywithproject managementtoolssuchas Microsoft Project, Scheduler, Smartsheet.Sitemark,Procore, Autodesk, Oracle Primavera, PS Project, or similar.
Degree inengineering, business,or relatedtechnicalfield and equivalent work experience inutilityscalesolarand/or BESS projects.
Proven experience in project management, specifically within the energy, utility, or construction sector.
Experience withrelevant products andspecificationsincluding but not limited to PV modules, BESS systems,microgrid controllers,transformers, Inverters, Trackers, Substation components, etc.
Understandingtheexecution sequence of development of utility scale and/or behind the meter solar and BESS projects.
Work Location
This position is eligible for either Hybrid or Remote options. The Hybrid option requires attendance in our Downtown Los Angeles officeon a full-time basis2-3days per week on daysdeterminedby CPA, with work location on the remaining days either in office or remote. Thisincludes a transportation allowance.The Remote option requires you to be available to attend full-time inoffice days and/or field events within Los Angeles and Ventura Countiesin accordance withthe needs of the company that may start as early as 8:30am at least 2 days per week.The Remote & Hybrid options require full-time in-person attendance at organization or team-wide events 3 times per year for 3-5 days per event. All staffare required towork during CPA’s office hours Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm PST.
Salary and Benefits
Thesalary range for this position is$120,008.17-$180,012.25, with exact compensation to bedeterminedby Clean Power Alliance, dependent on experience. Benefits include health care, a 401(k)-like match program, paid vacation, and sick leave. This is not a civil service position; however, all CPA employeesare required tosubmita Statement of Economic Interests form, also known asthe Form 700.
