What is the Opportunity?
Reporting to the Director, Climate Data Products & Platforms. The purpose of this job is to define, deliver, and grow enterprise data products that enable analytics, reporting, AI/ML, operational processes, and business decision-making across the organization.
This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, data, technology, and execution. You will own the strategy, roadmap, adoption, and business outcomes for one or more data products while partnering closely with engineering, analytics, architecture, governance, and business stakeholders.
You will work within a broader data platform ecosystem, leveraging shared platform capabilities while helping shape future platform investments through customer insights, product feedback, and evolving business needs.
What will you do?
Ownand execute theproduct vision and roadmapfor one or moreenterprise climatedata products, ensuring alignment with business priorities and portfolioobjectives.Define 'what' and 'why' for data product builds, and what business and user problems they will solve by partnering with business stakeholders, analytics teams, and data consumers.Manageend-to-end product deliveryin a dynamic andfast pacedenvironmentby working closely with engineering, architecture, and governance teams,managetrade-offs, anddelivermeasurable outcomes.Use your analytical and problem-solving skills to break down complex problems and make data-driven decisions and tradeoffs to help set the direction for the team and products being developedDrive growthand value realization through onboarding, enablement, stakeholder engagement, and continuous feedback loops.Monitor product performance and outcomes, using customer insights, usage metrics,and business results to inform future investments and roadmap decisions.Influence climate data platform capabilities and investments byidentifyingplatform gaps,advocating forcustomer needs, and promoting reusable solutions that improve scalability, governance, and self-service.Act as the glue across disciplines and organizations to ensure the data product(s) vision, strategy,roadmapand progress is clear and transparent across competing priorities.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
Product Management ExperienceAt least 5+ yearsof Product Management experience withdemonstratedownership of technology, data, analytics, or platform products.Ability to own a portfolio of products end-to-end(including product discovery, roadmapprioritizationandmetricstracking)independently. You havea track recordof successful product deliveries.Experience partnering with engineering, analytics, architecture, and business teams.Experience using SQL or other analytical tools to explore datasets,validatebusiness requirements, investigate product performance, and support data-driven decision-making.Strongcommunicator, collaborator, and can influence both technical and business stakeholders.
Nice-to-have:
Experience with enterprise data products or data platforms.Experience supporting analytics, reporting, AI/ML, or decision-support use cases.Experience driving adoption and change management initiatives.Able to navigate uncertainty and ambiguity and add structure to chaos.Comfortable flexing intodifferent rolesto support the team.
