Role Summary

We are looking for a new colleague who will be responsible for acquiring financial donations from major donors and institutional financial supporters. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, enjoy building and nurturing relationships, understand the needs and requirements of our donors and supporters, and be able to propose suitable solutions.

Job Details

• Location: Prague or Remote in Czech Republic
• Hours: 80-160 hours per month
• Reports to Co-Director ProVeg Czechia

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to acquire significant income from major donors and institutional financial supporters.
• Lead the acquisition of major and corporate donors through personal meetings (60%).
• Actively search for and apply for grant schemes, project grants, and subsidies (40%).
• Prepare plans to raise financial donations from major donors that align with the organization's goals.
• Build and manage a portfolio of individual major donors and institutional financial supporters.
• Create compelling campaigns in collaboration with PR to present the organization.
• Manage data, maintain accurate records of donors in the CRM database, and provide regular reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in fundraising.
• Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and with tools like Wrike and Slack.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong communication skills.
