Overview:

ProVeg China, an INGO responsible for mission-based programs and advocacy activities in China, is seeking an Executive Director to lead its China office. The Executive Director will report to the Chief China Representative, Managing Director Asia, and Board of Directors, ensuring the organization achieves its mission and financial objectives. Key responsibilities include program development, fundraising, PR, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

• **Strategy Development:** Align China strategy with ProVeg's wider strategy for consistent progress.
• **Fundraising & Thought Leadership:** Publicize activities, establish relationships with donors, represent the organization's viewpoint.
• **Internal Leadership & Management:** Lead program development, ensure compliance with laws, manage risks, and promote organizational culture.
• **Finances & Reporting:** Develop financial practices, budgeting, and reporting for the organization.

Qualifications:

• Experience in the plant-based food sector
• Leadership and budget management skills
• Fundraising and PR experience
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Willingness to travel
• Experience in nonprofit management
