About the role
As a specialist for sustainability reporting, you will play a critical role in driving our organization's sustainability reporting initiatives and ensuring compliance with global and local ESG frameworks. This position within the Sustainability team focuses on managing external ESG disclosures, benchmarking, and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for leading sustainability reporting across frameworks, developing stakeholder reports and dashboards, and coordinating internal and external ESG audits. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for advancing corporate sustainability practices.
Roles and responsibilities
• Lead sustainability reporting across frameworks such as GRI, CDP, TCFD, SASB, GRESB and BRSR.
• Develop and maintain ESG data collection systems and processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Monitor and benchmark sustainability performance against industry standards.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with evolving ESG regulations in India.
• Conduct periodic risk assessments related to ESG factors and develop mitigation strategies.
• Create compelling sustainability reports, dashboards, and presentations for diverse stakeholder groups.
• Manage the annual reporting calendar and ensure timely submission of all sustainability disclosures.
• Coordinate internal and external sustainability audits and verification processes.
• Manage EcoVadis reporting and certification processes to strengthen organization’s sustainability rating.
• Lead cross-functional sustainability projects from conception to completion.
Experience and qualifications
• 4-6 years of experience in corporate sustainability, ESG reporting or environmental consulting.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience with sustainability reporting frameworks such as GRI, CDP, TCFD, SASB, GRESB, BRSR and reporting tools such as Ecovadis.
• Strong understanding of ESG regulations in India and global sustainability trends.
• Professional certifications in sustainability preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in data collection, validation, and analysis.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
