Job Description
Earth Cleanse is seeking a Sales Representative for Eco-Friendly Tableware in Baltimore, MD. The role involves developing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, generating leads, conducting market research, and delivering product presentations. Candidates should have sales experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for sustainability. Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate B2B markets (restaurants, hotels, catering services, temples) and B2C channels (retail, e-commerce).
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our product line, including materials, sustainability benefits, and usage applications, to effectively communicate with customers.
• Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and attending trade shows and industry events.
• Sales Presentations: Deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits of our eco-friendly tableware.
• Door-to-door Sales Visits: Make door-to-door visits to build customers relationships and introduce products, carry sample products for demonstrations and deliver the products as required by local clients.
• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and customer preferences to refine sales strategies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns and product launches.
• Sales Reporting: Track sales performance, report on metrics, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency in English required, working knowledge of regional languages such as Hindi/Telugu or Spanish will be given additional consideration.
• Valid driver’s license and physical stamina for making sales visits and travel.
• Familiarity with local geographic areas.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in B2B and B2C environments, with a focus on eco-friendly or sustainable products.
• Strong understanding of sustainability practices and the ability to articulate their importance to potential clients.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A passion for sustainability and a desire to make a positive impact in the industry.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
