Sales Manager Large Li-Ion Cells (m/w/d)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take over as a key account from a global player and expand the existing business
  • Expand and maintain existing customers and the sales funnel with the local sales team
  • Acquire new customers and explore new markets and applications
  • Monitor relevant sales markets and competition, followed by the conception of suitable sales and marketing measures
  • Implement the sector strategy including forecasting, planning, reporting, and coordination with all relevant stakeholders at the customer level
  • Project planning and ongoing control of customer projects, including ensuring a reliable supply chain
  • Initiate internal projects and improvement measures to further enhance our products and processes

Your Skills:

  • Completed studies in a technical field, ideally with a business qualification (e.g., MBA) or equivalent
  • Professional experience in the battery sector, preferably in lithium-ion batteries
  • Demonstrable success in New Business Development
  • Experience in leading interdisciplinary teams
  • Committed and sales-driven personality, dynamic and extroverted but technically sound
  • Pragmatic with a hands-on mentality, flexibility, and enjoyment of personal customer contact and associated travel activities
  • Very good German and English language skills, negotiable in both written and verbal communication
  • Solid knowledge of international contract management
  • Proficient in common IT systems, particularly MS Office
