Safety Health & Environmental Coordinator

PACCOR is seeking a Safety Health & Environmental Coordinator in Excelsior Springs, MO. Job Description

Performs safety and health activities in industrial plants or at environmental sites to evaluate and control environmental hazards

• Tests noise levels and measures air quality

• Trains employees on safety and health requirements to ensure compliance with regulations

• Trains forklift operators to qualify for licensing

• Oversees field activities and monitors for health and safety violations

• Issues and monitors hot work permits, confined space entries, and lockout/tag out permits

• Develops and monitors emergency action plans

• Investigates accidents and prepares accident reports

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
