Job Description
Eco Guardian Inc. is seeking an SAP Implementation Specialist to enhance their SAP Business One system. The role involves system integration, aligning business processes, improving data integrity, and documenting workflows. Candidates should have hands-on experience with SAP B1, strong ERP process knowledge, and experience integrating with third-party systems. This position is remote, allowing for flexibility while contributing to the company's growth in sustainable packaging solutions.
About Eco Guardian
Eco Guardian is a Canadian-owned leader in compostable and recyclable packaging solutions, proudly serving the foodservice, grocery, and retail sectors since 2004. We make the sustainable alternatives to single-use plastics — think compostable cups, food containers, and biodegradable packaging used by many local brands.
We're in an exciting period of growth. With a new advanced manufacturing facility in Aurora and a recent $1.5M Ontario government investment backing our expansion, we're scaling fast — and we need our systems to scale with us.
The Opportunity
We've got SAP Business One in place — now we need the right person to take it further.
We're looking for a hands-on
SAP Business One Integration Specialist
to help us unlock the full potential of our ERP investment. This isn't a maintenance role. You'll be driving meaningful change — eliminating manual workarounds, connecting our systems, and turning SAP B1 into the true engine of our business.
If you thrive in dynamic, growing environments and love building scalable ERP solutions that actually make a difference, this role is for you.
What You'll Be Doing
Enhance SAP Business One
Strengthen our existing SAP B1 implementation across sales, purchasing, inventory & warehousing, financials, production, and MRP
Build reports, dashboards, queries, and alerts that support real operational and financial decisions
Automate workflows to cut manual entry and drive efficiency
Lead System Integration
Own the integration of SAP B1 with third-party systems — including our Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Design and maintain data mappings, interfaces, and validation controls
Ensure clean, reliable, real-time data flow across all departments
Align Business Processes
Work directly with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into SAP solutions
Standardize data definitions and processes across departments
Make SAP B1 the single source of truth — for everyone
Improve Data Integrity
Clean up, migrate, and normalize data across inventory, orders, costs, and financials
Spot and act on opportunities for continuous system and process improvement
Document & Transfer Knowledge
Document configurations, integrations, and workflows
Train and upskill internal users
Set the team up for long-term success
What You Bring
Must-Have
Proven hands-on experience with SAP Business One (development, configuration, or implementation)
Strong grasp of ERP-driven processes across manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, and finance
Experience integrating SAP B1 with third-party systems — WMS experience is a strong asset
Solid understanding of data structures, system integration, and process automation
Ability to turn complex business requirements into practical, scalable SAP solutions
Nice to Have
SAP Business One SDK, SQL, or advanced reporting experience
Track record of replacing spreadsheet-based processes with ERP solutions
Experience in a fast-growing or evolving business environment
Familiarity with PLC data structures or MES platforms
Why Join Us
Lead high-impact ERP and integration work from day one
Collaborative team that values your expertise
Competitive compensation *salary is based on experience and skillset
