• Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join our team. The successful candidate will work under Dr. Alysha Helmrich's direct supervision and contribute to our research projects focused on natural hazards risk assessment methodology, compound risk assessment, and resilience assessment.
• Key Responsibilities

The postdoctoral fellow will be responsible for:
• Supporting the development of a suite of tools to enable watershed-level resilience, including a pilot study and technology transfer documentation.
• Co-developing a natural hazards risk assessment methodology under climate change, including compound risk from multiple hazards.
• Creating a framework for risk ranking of built and natural infrastructure regarding each hazard type.
• Assisting in the development of a natural hazards risk assessment guide.
• Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must have a PhD in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related field, with experience in analytical and qualitative skills related to natural hazards risk assessment methodology, compound risk assessment, and resilience assessment.
