We are on the lookout for an experienced and dedicated renewables engineer to join our team.
This role requires a reliable professional with detailed knowledge of renewable energy systems who can manage complex problems effectively, communicate proficiently, and adapt smoothly to changes. The successful candidate will not only possess excellent time management skills and a positive attitude but also have a proven ability in delivering high quality customer service within a team environment.
Overview of Role:
The main responsibility of the Renewables Breakdown Engineer will be to provide maintenance and repair services for our renewable energy installations. This includes diagnosing and rectifying faults, providing technical support and advice, and ensuring all work is completed in line with safety standards and regulations. The role will involve close collaboration with our engineering and customer service teams, making effective communication and teamwork vital.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnosing & repairing faults within renewable energy central heating and hot water systems across the region.
Provide technical support and advice to customers and colleagues
Ensuring high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet the required quality standards.
Communicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually.
Ensure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during your daily work.
To comply with stock ordering and auditing procedures so relevant parts are available to fulfil job requirements.
Key Requirements & Attributes:
With a friendly and professional attitude, you will build strong relationships with our clients and their tenants, ensuring all works meet the required standards.
Experience in renewable energy heating and hot water systems is essential for this role
Skilled at problem solving & decision making
Gas qualifications are desirable for this role.
It is important that we complete all the appropriate criminal and reference checks before you start working with us.
Valid Driving License
