Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, inspect, and repair various renewable energy systems, including solar photovoltaic (PV) panels, small-scale wind turbines, and battery storage solutions.
Conduct diagnostic tests and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in renewable energy infrastructure.
Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of systems.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols, industry standards, and local regulations at all times.
Document all work performed, including installations, repairs, and maintenance activities, accurately and promptly.
Collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure successful project completion.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding system operation and maintenance.
Travel to various project sites across North Yorkshire and surrounding regions as required.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with new technologies and best practices.

Required Skills

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in renewable energy system installation and maintenance.
Proficiency in electrical wiring, circuitry, and diagnostic tools specific to solar PV and/or wind energy.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations pertinent to working at heights and with electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system specifications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various work sites.
Good command of English (written and verbal communication skills).
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
