Our client, a forward-thinking energy consulting firm, is actively seeking a highly analytical and motivated Remote Energy Transition Analyst. This fully remote position allows you to contribute to critical projects focused on the shift towards sustainable energy solutions from anywhere in the US. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of energy markets, renewable energy technologies, policy analysis, and the economic drivers behind the global energy transition. Responsibilities will include conducting in-depth research and analysis on energy trends, market dynamics, and policy developments; evaluating the feasibility and impact of renewable energy projects; developing financial models to assess project economics; and preparing comprehensive reports and presentations for clients. You will collaborate with senior analysts and consultants to support strategic planning for utilities, corporations, and government agencies navigating the complexities of decarbonization and energy modernization. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with exceptional quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and a passion for sustainable energy. A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, Environmental Science, Finance, or a related field is required, with a Master's degree being a significant plus. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the energy sector, consulting, or policy analysis is essential. Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Python) and experience with energy modeling software are highly advantageous.
