As a Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Octopus Energy Italia, you will have the opportunity to influence the country's energy policies.

Octopus Energy believes in a fair energy transition that creates value for the end customer, utilizes technology to manage complexity, and reduce costs. In addition to following regulatory updates and guidance from authorities such as ARERA, AGCM, and other key stakeholders, you will interface and collaborate with various market players and major sector associations, bringing a fresh and clean vision of a more accessible renewable world.

What you will do:

• Follow and deepen sector regulatory updates and assess their impacts on colleagues' activities and the company.
• Ensure a solid and professional relationship between Octopus Energy and competent authorities and sector associations, bringing ideas, data, and best practices to support relevant initiatives.
• Actively contribute to improving the Italian energy market by identifying participation opportunities in technical workgroups or industry conferences.
• Manage responses to consultations of interest to the company.
• Coordinate with colleagues in other Octopus Energy countries to address common issues, for example, European topics.

What you need:

• A healthy passion for the regulatory world.
• Capacity to prioritize to ensure deadlines are met and resources are optimally allocated based on activity importance.
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent relationship management skills.
• Collaborative spirit and ability to work in teams contributing to the improvement of Octopus' services and technology.
• Previous experience in the energy sector, particularly in the regulatory world or similar positions. Recommended experience of 3-5 years.
