We are expanding our team and looking for Consultants and Senior Consultants to join the Climate Change and Sustainability Services team based in Canberra. While Canberra is the preferred location, applicants from Sydney or Melbourne will also be considered. The EY Climate Change and Sustainability Services team is the biggest sustainability consulting team in Oceania. Our multidisciplinary teams help government and companies understand the risks and opportunities arising from climate change and sustainability issues to help them drive performance and transparency. Our team works across the full spectrum of sustainability and climate change issues including environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy outcomes, measurement, climate risk, and decarbonization economics policy and regulation through advisory and assurance engagements.

Your key responsibilities:

• Contribute to strategy solutions, methodologies, analytical frameworks, and tools.
• Develop financial, economic, or emissions models for analysis.
• Develop and apply frameworks and methods for assessing economic and financial impact.
• Develop clear, well-written reports and presentations.
• Assist clients to develop and implement sustainability strategies.
• Develop targets and implement plans to enhance sustainability value.

What we're looking for:

• Passion for sustainability.
• Tertiary qualification in science, agricultural science, economics, or accounting.
• 1-3 years experience in climate change services.
• Comfort with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently across multiple engagements.
• Knowledge of climate change and sustainability regulations and policies.
• Interest in sustainability.
