Corteva is seeking a Regional Food Systems Leader for the EMEA region, based in Guyancourt, France. The role involves developing regional food system strategies, advocating for business opportunities, and engaging with stakeholders across the food value chain. Candidates should have a relevant degree and at least 8 years of experience in agriculture or food systems. The position requires travel across the EMEA region and occasional global travel.

We know we’ve got big challenges to solve – we hope you’ll be part of the solution.Corteva Agriscience presents an exciting opportunity for a Regional Food Systems Leader, EMEA Areas of Impact:Regional Food System Strategy Development & ImplementationDevelop and implement regional strategies to support existing and pipeline business in alignment with Global Strategy.Identify and develop opportunities to maintain and grow Crop Protection business via collaboration with food value chainAnticipate global reach of EU Food Chain policies and advocate for / protect Corteva business opportunitiesGather and prioritize country-level Food System needsLead Regional Food Systems CoNNEXT NetworkAlign Food System efforts for the regionEnsure knowledge sharing in region and to GlobalAddress customer needs related with Freedom to Trade – Customer FocusSecondary Standards: Proactive engagement and coordination regarding secondary standardsAdvocate for our products in Food Chain sourcing policies & listsRelationship Building & External InfluenceRepresent Corteva in key supply chain & food policy organizationsSegmentation and relationship strategy developmentServe as account management focal point for identified food company and packer, processor contactsCommunications & Training: Conducting Internal and external communication planning for Food Chain. Provide training as requestedLocations: Europe, willingness to travel across the EMEA region and occasionally globally.Interacts With: This role reports to the Global Food Systems Director. Works with colleagues in the EMEA and Global Businesses, and with functions such as Regulatory & Stewardship; Sustainability; Public Affairs; and R&D. Engages with external stakeholders, such as food company contacts, grocery retailers, certifiers, industry associations and/or relevant subject matter experts.Requirements:Education & ExperienceBachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Public Affairs, Food Systems, or a related field.Minimum 8 years of experience in agriculture, crop protection, food systems, or related industries, including strategic roles interfacing with external stakeholders.Background or significant experience in Public Affairs, regulatory engagement, or policy advocacy, particularly related to agriculture or food value chains.Proven experience working across the food value chain (e.g., with food companies, processors, packers, or retailers) and familiarity with global and EMEA-level food system dynamics.Technical & Functional CompetenciesSolid understanding of crop protection, biological and seed products and their role in sustainable agriculture.Knowledge of EU food chain sourcing policies, secondary standards, and regulatory frameworks impacting agriculture and food systems.Experience in shaping public and private policies to support business growth, market access , and sustainability outcomes.Strong strategic thinking and market development skills, with ability to drive cross-functional alignment and portfolio success.Leadership & CommunicationExcellent communication, relationship and stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated ability to engage with value chain entities, industry associations, NGOs, and other corporate stakeholders.Proven leadership of cross-regional initiatives or networks (e.g., internal communities), including knowledge sharing and team alignment.Experience strategy development and planning, delivery of training and stakeholder engagement.Personal AttributesCurious, courageous, and purpose-driven mindset aligned with Corteva’s values.Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage complexity in a dynamic, multicultural environment.Strong interpersonal skills and cultural awareness to collaborate effectively across global teams and external partners.Fluent in English; additional European languages are an asset.#LI-OB1To know more about Corteva please watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWdf_kvmdSI
