X-energy is hiring a Recruiter II to support their recruiting efforts for nuclear engineers and technologists in Rockville, MD. The role involves sourcing candidates, managing the interview process, and collaborating with hiring managers. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and at least three years of recruitment experience. The position requires in-office work four days a week, with minimal travel expected.

Job Description

X-energy is seeking to change the world, and we are looking for a Recruiter committed to helping us make this happen. You will work with the recruiting and engineering teams to attract and hire world-class nuclear engineers and technologists. You will partner with hiring managers to understand their needs and priorities in order to help grow the best nuclear engineering team in the world. You will work to identify and engage passive candidates and manage the full-cycle recruiting process for technical hires.

Responsibilities
• Directly source candidates through research, messaging campaigns, social media, referral generation, and events.
• Conduct preliminary conversations with potential candidates about the company and the role that they are interested in.
• Ensure that candidates are seamlessly moving through the interview process.
• Maintain candidate records in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Acts as an internal advocate for candidates by preparing offer recommendations that align with the business requirements and delivers approved offers to candidates for consideration.
• Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Typically, three plus years of experience hiring technical and non-technical talent by sourcing, pitching, and closing candidates.
• Experience working as part of an in-house internal recruitment team.
• Experience sourcing candidates across a variety of online platforms including LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Experience with MS Office applications.
• Beginner level ability to leverage candidate databases such as Indeed and LinkedIn.
• Support team members with the execution of the core tasks and responsibilities, listed in the Job Profile Task/Responsibilities section of this document, under guided supervision.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders in our engineering, people, and recruitment operations teams to effectively drive change and propose process improvements.
• Strategize on ways to successfully build talent pipelines for multiple, complex searches.

Location: Rockville, MD

Work Site Expectations: 4 days in office

Travel Expectations: 5%

Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm, Mon-Fri

Compensation

As required by Maryland and other applicable state law, X Energy, LLC (X-energy) lists the expected compensation range for a publicly advertised job opportunity based upon the job requirements (e.g. education/training, experience, skill sets, etc.). Individual candidates who meet the job requirements for the posted position will be offered a salary within this range based on their respective levels of education/training, experience, and other qualifications unique to them. Salary ranges may vary based on the specific office location and region referenced in the posting to take into consideration differences in cost of living and may not be reflective of all regions. Please note that compensation ranges listed for US job postings reflect base salary only and do not include benefits or other incentives.

A reasonable estimate for this position at the level of experience required is:

$67,500- $86,250
