Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced NPI Quality Engineer to join our new factory in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will lead quality engineering efforts during the introduction of new products and materials, ensuring customer requirements are accurately translated into quality technical specifications. Using structured methodologies such as Quality Function Deployment (QFD), you will drive product quality, performance, and cross-functional alignment to ensure our solar panel products meet both customer expectations and regulatory standards

Key responsibilities:
• Develop and implement quality management systems and objectives for the respective areas of responsibility.
• Organize standardized operational management for products under your responsibilities.
• Participate in quality planning for new products and implement corresponding preventive measures.
• Coordinate, handle, inspect, and supervise daily affairs related to Process Quality Control (PQC).
• Control testing costs and labor costs to improve work efficiency and service quality.
• Establish standards for operational compliance checks in PQC
• Develop operational compliance check guidelines for PQC.
• Actively promote and implement quality improvement activities.
• Implement and verify the effectiveness of preventive and corrective measures.
• Responsible for the development and training of engineers and team leaders
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on the quality of PQC work.
• Conduct assessments of the achievement of process quality (KPIs).
• Assess and evaluate the performance of PQC personnel.

Qualifications:
• Strong Knowledge of production safety, lean production, six sigma, production quality.
• Highly developed interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Strong learning ability, curiosity, and openness to learn new things with a sense of ambition, self-motivation, and self-discipline.
• Must do audits and reviews of quality data according to existing procedures and documenting results as relates to area of responsibility.
• Should be knowledgeable of industry and governmental quality regulations.
• Company and regulatory quality standards for product manufacturing.
• Ability to Lift up to 35 lbs.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience.
