Job Description

Osborne Richardson is seeking a Project Coordinator for their Sustainable Communities program in East London. The role involves managing the Community Hub project, engaging stakeholders, maintaining project plans, and assisting with project documentation. Strong communication and community development experience are required. The position is contract-based, offering £250-£280 per day for an initial 3-month term.
Our client is a thriving borough in East London undergoing considerable transformation and regeneration. They have a vacancy for a Project Coordinator to join them for a role within their Sustainable Communities programme and provide support to the projects being undertaken within it

Specifically you will take responsibility for the Community Hub project ensuring effective stakeholder engagement working with operational staff, customers, communities and other stakeholders. You will also assist with creation of project plans for other projects which fall under the Sustainable Communities programme.

You will be required to maintain project plans, risk and issues logs ensuring that actions are completed to deadline, reporting to the Project/Programme Manager and steering group/project board on any overdue or delayed outcomes. You will also organise project management and stakeholder events and meetings in a supporting role to record actions and update project plans and risk logs as required.

Strong communication skills are essential as you will be dealing with senior managers, stakeholders and the general public, explaining complex and new approaches to sustainability.

The successful candidate will need recent experience of providing support within a project and programme environment, ideally with a local authority. You will need proven experience of community development, and strong stakeholder engagement skills are essential
