We are inviting applications from highly research-active candidates for the positions of full-time Professor in Environmental Studies.
FLAME University, Pune (Maharashtra, India), is the pioneer of liberal education in India. With a strong focus on interdisciplinary research and teaching, the School of Liberal Education has recognized strengths in the areas of Psychology, Sociology, Public Policy, Economics, Philosophy, Literary and Cultural Studies, in addition to Environmental Sciences, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics and Humanities. We are inviting applications from highly research-active candidates for the positions of full-time Professor in Environmental Studies.
Faculty responsibilities include but are not limited to teaching, advising students, participating in faculty colloquia, and academic administration. A Ph.D. (completed or nearing submission) is required at the time of application. Our expectation is that a successful applicant will:
1. Undertake independent high-quality research as well as work actively with existing members to build a strong interdisciplinary community of scholars who are committed to delivering cutting-edge research and innovation
2. Translate research findings into evidence-based practices, programs and policies
